Some entries on Wikipedia are better (and more reliable...) than others. This one on Alan Moore is definitely of the "better" camp.

If V for Vendetta is anything like the Matrix I won't be happy nor surprised, but why do comics have (at times) such an akward translation between page and the big screen. Whos fault is it? Studio, Producers, writers????
Although there have been alot of misses there have been some gems in the comic/movie relationship. Maybe some studio's take the comic at face value or more as a story board to a film without really changing it into a story that would appeal on the big screen and yet Sin City was almost word for word from the comic and it was beautifully executed.
